At 65 I, also 5'11", 170 lbs, have wavy hair (some still waving goodbye -- Minoxidil, Kevis help). Also, I have had to be for decades health&exercise-conscious not to become a balloon, so I need a retired or near-retired partner to complement (not compliment) me daily. True, though a retired professor of philosophy & computer science (AI), I, if I am stuck, ask even children for street directions.

Ask not what life can do for you but what you can do for life ;. (Or, put visually, one should prefer peaches; but if Life gives you lemons, why not make lemonade?) Yet my Italian genes ask not for Twiggy or average or Dolly Parton necessarily but for fit and curvy.

To continue with my personal preferences and reflections, if one cannot live alone fruitfully, how can s/he add to another's life? Only foul-weather friends need apply. I built apartments in my houses for a mentally ill Mother. Please, send me some concrete evidence of your having been the for-better&for-worse type.

Between life partners there should be only discussions, not shouting matches. And who cares who is right? Indeed, affection and devotion should inspire love-making and all of their life together. Go to bed at least holding hands, showing both will try tomorrow to solve today's problems. Let us experiment -- in bed (at least 5 positions beyond the missionary) and OUT. Spoiled kids remain spoiled even after they leave home; I don't need anyone's spoiled kind of adult kids (or animals).

Years ago I was a colossal embezzlement victim. To offset this tragedy, I, having waterfront real-estate assets [and great curiosity], am improving my financial-security & free&-time picture: I may get a favorable mortgage on a 2nd house soon -- so no little mortgage payments at all.

Serious movies (from On the Waterfront to A Beautiful Mind and the Passion of Christ) are my cup of (green) tea. All the better if they can be laced with humor, as in One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest. Delicious are classic musicals like "The Sound of Music."

On the spiritual side: all of reality -- with its spiritual and material dimensions -- is my full Church. A Pantheist am I. The All is my God or Ultimate. I and humankind should seek to advance the transcendent-immanent W(holy) Spirit of History('s) Movement (Zeitgeist). Our thoughts have no size, color or weight; hence, reveal our immaterial or spiritual part. Moreover, our knowledge of a point (dimensionless, hence, invisible) and a line (just 1 dimension -- also, invisible), cause, justice (what size, color are they?) never arise from observations by our senses but are independent of them; and these lights from the mind or spirit shine upon and identify objects we observe. Our spirits then exist apart from the body -- indeed, are immortal.
Still, more important is the quality of the life any person leads.
Finally, I am longing for your reflections on the above points, which I hope are somewhat detailed & analytical.
